Application areas

Flat roof

For all types of flat roofs (warm roofs, cold roofs, green roofs):

Depending on where the PHS is installed within the roofing system, it generates specific data relating to the tightness of the roof sealant, to the water saturation limits of the insulation system, or to the diffusion resistance of the vapour barrier.

Wooden structures

Pre-fabricated solid hardwood or timber-framed houses:

The PHS detects and signalises water leaks and humidity on roofs, walls, floor heating systems etc. and also identifies condensation.

Wet rooms

In wet rooms, such as bathrooms, it is essential to identify leaky drains, supply lines etc. immediately.

Windows and doors

Indoor condensation on windows and doors resulting from thermal bridges can be detected easily.

Tested quality

"This Customer turned to OFI to have the durability of their roof sensor system tested. As an accredited testing agency, we performed environmental simulation tests to check sensor functionality, conducted a chemical analysis to evaluate the migration potential of flat roof component chemicals and assessed the corrosion resistance of the connector contacts. In conclusion, the tests performed by OFI have verified the functionality of the roof sensor and its applicability on a variety of insulation materials."

The PHS is resistant to moulding, weathering and aging, pressure and shear loads, and can be used in any climate.“
